Detailed Itinerary

Day 1

Arrival in Ayodhya - Ram Janmabhoomi Darshan

Arrive at Ayodhya by train or flight. You will be met by our representative and transferred to your hotel. After check-in, visit the sacred sites.

  • Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Temple: The newly constructed grand temple at the birthplace of Lord Rama.
  • Hanuman Garhi: A fort-like temple of Lord Hanuman, believed to guard Ayodhya.
  • Kanak Bhawan: A divine palace gifted to Sita, with golden idols of Ram & Sita.
  • Saryu Ghat: For a peaceful evening aarti.

Day 2

Ayodhya to Prayagraj - Triveni Sangam Rituals

After breakfast, check out and drive to Prayagraj (approx. 4.5 hours). On arrival, check in and proceed for rituals.

  • Triveni Sangam: The holy confluence of Ganga, Yamuna, and Saraswati rivers, ideal for Tarpan rituals.
  • Bade Hanuman Mandir: A unique temple with a reclining idol of Lord Hanuman.
  • Alopi Devi Temple: A revered Shakti Peeth.

Prayagraj to Varanasi - Ganga Aarti Experience

Check out after breakfast and drive to Varanasi/Kashi (approx. 4 hours). Upon arrival, check-in near Dashashwamedh or Assi Ghat.

  • Dashashwamedh Ghat Ganga Aarti: Witness the vibrant and sacred aarti ceremony, where priests perform synchronized rituals with fire and chants.
  • Optional Boat Ride: Capture the essence of Kashi from the river during sunset.

Day 4

Varanasi Temples & Ancestral Tarpan

Begin the day with morning temple visits and sacred rituals on the ghats.

  • Kashi Vishwanath Jyotirlinga: One of the 12 Jyotirlingas of Shiva; believed to grant moksha.
  • Annapurna Devi & Other Temples: Visit the temples of Annapurna, Sankat Mochan, Durga Kund, Tulsi Manas, and the BHU Vishwanath Temple.
  • Tarpan Ritual: Take a holy dip at Panchganga or Dashashwamedh Ghat and perform Tarpan for ancestors under the guidance of a priest.

Day 5

Varanasi to Gaya - Vishnupad Temple Darshan

Check out after breakfast and proceed to Gaya (approx. 6 hours drive). Arrival and check-in at the hotel near Vishnupad Temple.

  • Vishnupad Temple: Visit the central site for Pind Daan rituals, built at the site of Lord Vishnu's footprint.
  • Evening Ritual Planning: Light a lamp for your ancestors and meet with the appointed purohit (priest) to plan the next day's ceremony.

Day 6

Gaya - Main Pind Daan Ceremony & Ritual Sites

The main day for performing the sacred Pind Daan ceremony.

  • Morning Rituals: Take a holy bath in the Falgu River and perform Sankalp, offer Pinds, and conduct Tarpan with the priest's assistance.
  • Akshay Vat Tree: Make offerings under the eternal banyan tree, where offerings are considered timeless.
  • Optional Pretshila Hill Visit: A site believed to release souls stuck in ghost form.

Bodh Gaya Visit (Optional) & Departure

After breakfast, you have the option to visit Bodh Gaya (13 km away) before your departure.

  • Mahabodhi Temple: A UNESCO World Heritage Site where Lord Buddha attained enlightenment.
  • Bodhi Tree: A direct descendant of the original tree.
  • Monasteries: Explore Thai, Japanese, and Tibetan monasteries for peaceful spiritual moments.

After your visit, check out from the hotel and transfer to Gaya Airport or Railway Station for your departure, concluding the sacred journey.
